Heathrow to Cambridge Chauffeur Transfer

After a long-haul flight, the last thing you want is a train change at Paddington or King's Cross. Arrival

Meeting you at every Heathrow terminal

We collect from all four passenger terminals: 2, 3, 4 and 5. Tell us your flight number and we'll know your terminal and landing time. If the airline moves your arrival to a different terminal, the chauffeur moves too.

Your chauffeur waits in the public arrivals hall of your terminal, holding a name board, once you've cleared passport control, collected your bags and passed through customs. The meeting point and your chauffeur's contact details are in your booking confirmation.

Long-haul arrivals can take a while to clear immigration. Your booking includes 60 minutes of free waiting, and because we track the flight, a delayed landing simply moves the pickup time at no extra cost.

The journey

The drive from Heathrow to Cambridge

Distance

about 70 miles

Typical drive

75 to 110 minutes

Main roads

M25 and M11

Cambridge is about 70 miles from Heathrow. The usual route is the M25 clockwise to junction 27, then the M11 north into Cambridge. In normal traffic the drive takes 75 to 110 minutes. Weekday evening peaks on the M25 can add more, so we plan around live traffic on the day.

Every car has complimentary water, Wi-Fi and phone charging, and the chauffeur knows the Cambridge colleges, research campuses and hotels well, so you're dropped at the right entrance rather than the nearest street.

Chauffeur, train or coach?

By train, Heathrow to Cambridge usually means the Elizabeth line or Heathrow Express into London, then the Underground across to King's Cross or Liverpool Street and a mainline train north: three changes, with luggage, in roughly two to two and a half hours. National Express coaches run direct but take longer and stop at fixed points.

A chauffeur is one vehicle from the arrivals hall to your door, at a price set in advance. For two or three people the per-head cost is often close to first-class rail, and there's no carrying cases through the Underground.
