London City is built for speed. Check-in closes as little as 20 to 30 minutes before departure on many flights, and the terminal is compact. That means you can leave Cambridge later than for any other London airport, as long as the car gets you there on time. We plan every early run around live traffic on the M11 and the A406 North Circular.
For a first-wave departure between 6:30 and 8:00am, most of our passengers leave Cambridge between 4:30 and 5:30am. The roads are quiet at that hour, and the drive is usually at the faster end of the range. Later in the morning, east London traffic builds, so we'll suggest a pickup time when you book.
